Tying his hair back quickly, Dominick cringed at the stranger's reply.

He leaned toward Magdalena with an accusing glare, long enough to whisper, "I'll kill you later." The little wind spirit fwiffed away with an eep.

Shoving himself from underneath the car, Dominick followed the man through the front office and out the obviously jimmied door. "Y'know, usually when there's a closed sign on a locked door, it means we're closed," he pointed out blandly, examining the lock.

"Usually when there's a closed sign on a locked door, you don't find mechanics working on cars."
